Villa Tramonto is situated in a peaceful and quiet area in the heart of Chianti Classico, surrounded by vineyards. This attractive, romantic vacation villa with Virginia Creeper on its external walls is the epitome of the traditional Tuscany farmhouse: constructed in the 17th century, it has been carefully restored over the last few years and transformed into a top class villa with all the usual modern conveniences. Original architectural details such as chestnut beam ceilings, old terracotta flooring and a large fireplace reflect authentic Tuscan flair. The fittings and furnishings are, in contrast, significantly more up to date. This holiday rental is particularly suited to guests who wish to be left in peace but do not wish to do without the usual modern comforts. In the extensive well-kept garden, there are several terraces, which are, with their tables and chairs, a perfect setting for dinners together in the open air.
Fascinating views of the surrounding wine fields. The big open ground floor, in which some walls are not plastered, is the comfortable focus of the home. The kitchen is amply equipped. The friendly housekeeper lives in an outbuilding. She's available daily for a period of four hours (except on Sundays).
Main building:
GROUND FLOOR: Entrance into a small vestibule with stairway into the 1st floor. From the vestibule there is access to an open room, which is split into several areas. Firstly you enter a foyer, in which there is a functioning fireplace, before accessing the large living area with comfortable sofas, a large fireplace, satellite TV, ceiling fan and door to the garden; the dining area with a table for 14 people is next to the kitchen; from the dining room there is a door out onto the terrace, which has a table and chairs. From the foyer there is access to a laundry room, which is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer as well as a bathroom (shower/WC). In a small wing of the ground floor there are 2 double bedrooms, which can be entered only from the garden. Each is en-suite (shower cabinet/WC) and both have air conditioning and a ceiling fan.
1st FLOOR: Here there is 1 bright double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with en-suite (shower cabinet/WC), 1 twin bedroom (the beds can be pushed together) with small en-suite (shower cabinet/WC) and 1 large double bedroom with desk, satellite TV as well as 2 en-suite bathrooms (one bathroom with shower cabinet/WC and a large bathroom with bathtub/WC); each bedroom has a ceiling fan.
In several places on the ground floor, there are level differences of one or two steps.
Outbuilding:
Here there is a small double bedroom (suitable for children and teenagers) with en-suite (shower cabinet/WC) as well as a fitness room with air conditioning and WC.
