This large vacation villa with outbuilding in southern Tuscany dates back to the Middle Ages. It lies just 1 km away from Lucignano within a peaceful landscape. Villa Buonamico is very suitable for relaxing in seclusion. In the warm months you can take a refreshing dip in the well-kept swimming pool. There is plenty room for children to play. This holiday home is a good base for eventful day trips to discover Tuscany. Apart from Cortona and Arezzo you should also visit Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni and Montalcino. The Lake Trasimeno, Siena and Florence can easily be reached.
If you appreciate genuine, uncomplicated hospitality this is the right place for you: This Tuscan villa is run by Cristina; the parents have more or less retired but still lend a hand (you can see a family photo in the photo gallery). Olive oil, a decent organic red wine (without certification) as well as fine Tuscan ham and meat specialties are produced on the small farm (you can purchase all these at fair prices). The family lives ca. 200 m away.
This Tuscany villa is tastefully furnished - partly with antique Tuscan furniture - and offers the usual modern comforts.
GROUND FLOOR: 3 big double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom (shower/WC); one bedroom has a double sofa bed 1st FLOOR: Kitchen with fireplace - 2 double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom (shower/WC) 2nd FLOOR: Living room - double bedroom with double sofa bed + bathroom (shower/WC). Beds in all double rooms can be pulled apart.
INSIDE: Hob/oven - fridge (freezer compartment) - dishwasher - washing machine - TV - central heating
