This Tuscany villa is within walking distance (just 500 m) of a small village in the heart of Chianti Classico amidst a landscape of vineyards, olive groves and oak forests. Below the grounds of the property you can delight at the wide open space and enjoy the splendid panoramic view. In these surroundings you will easily manage to relax and recharge your batteries. Just let yourself completely unwind. After a refreshing dip in the pool you can lie in the shade of the veranda and leaf through a book, perhaps the Slowfood Restaurant Guide Osterie d’Italia in order to find the right restaurant for the evening.
Obviously wine is one of the cultural and commercial focal points of the region. On interesting trips you can find many famous vineyards such as Dievole (Broccato) or Tenuta di Lilliano (Anagallis), which tempt you to try their wine. Almost every winery is in an interesting building with an illustrious past. You absolutely have to visit the Badia a Coltibuono, a former monastery founded in the year 1051 (guided tours are offered). The property belongs to the family of Lorenza de’ Medici. She has written many a well-known cookbook and organizes cooking courses. Badia a Coltibuono is however also a valued vineyard (Cultus Boni) among connoisseurs. Florence, San Gimignano and Siena can easily be reached from the holiday home.
Villetta de Rampolla is tastefully decorated Tuscan villa, furnished to a high standard. There is a narrow road above the limits of the property. It is not a busy road but particularly during the day you occasionally hear a car.
