Tuscany villa La Pupoletta was originally constructed by monks in the 16th century. It is situated in a secluded area around 2 km outside the small spa San Casciano dei Bagni, surrounded by a large meadow with old trees. The landlords breed Chianine, white, southern Tuscan cows, which are well much coveted due to their highly nutritious meat (see the photo gallery). The drive up to this vacation villa is through the paddock, which is separated from the grounds of the holiday home by a fence.
In the warm months you have use a swimming pool, which is filled with thermal water. Villa La Pupoletta is a charming holiday rental with a lot of character and is ideal for a group, who wish to enjoy their peace and quiet. It is also however a good base for eventful day trips to discover the many interesting places in southern Tuscany: apart from the nearby San Casciano dei Bagni - founded by the Etruscans - you can go to Montepulciano, Pienza and Siena. Lake Trasimeno, Florence and Maremma with its sea are also within easy reach.
This natural stone Tuscan villa has been carefully restored, has the usual modern appliances and is furnished to suit a dignified taste (partly with antique furniture belonging to the family).
