Villa Le Manzine is a prestigious Tuscan villa in the middle of Chianti Classico, a cultivated landscape steeped in history. Picture a landscape of gentle slopes covered with vineyards, olive groves and forests. The next small village with restaurants and shops is just 500 m away.
A group of friends or a family that does not wish to do without its usual comforts will feel particularly at home here. Part of the property is a well-kept, attractively designed garden with long-standing trees and a lawn. Here you can recharge your batteries, read a good book in a sunlounger, then cool down in the pool.
The area has a lot to offer. Old ruins are everywhere and it is worth visiting them. I can recommend the medieval Abbey of Passignano. Just opposite is the Osteria di Passignano, run by the well-known Antinoris, a family of winegrowers; it is a delight to eat in these pleasant surroundings (in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Badia a Passignano; Via Passignano 33; closed on Sundays and for 2 weeks in August). Naturally wine plays an important role in Chianti Classico. You can visit the famous vineyards and taste their wines, such as Felsina (Fontalloro) or Castello d’Albola near Radda (Le Marangole).
